• Dress Code

    Formal

We have chosen the dress code Formal for our wedding. In Swedish, this is referred to as Mörk Kostym, and in Norwegian, it is called Mørk Dress.

For women, this typically means an elegant cocktail dress of any colour, a floor-length gown, or a sophisticated midi dress. For men, it usually means a dark suit with a dress shirt and tie.

National costume is also a great alternative.

  • Transportation

The wedding ceremony will take place at Uranienborg Kirke at 14:30, and there’s plenty of parking for those arriving by car or taxi. For those taking the bus or tram, there are also bus stops near the church.

We suggest arriving a little early to get settled before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, the celebration continues with shared transportation to Høymagasinet, so all you need to do is show up at the church and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • Food & drinks

After the ceremony, the celebrations kick off at Høymagasinet with the cocktail reception at 16:00! There will be plenty of mingling and light bites to set the perfect tone for the evening.

At 18:00, we’ll gather for a three-course dinner, followed by coffee and cake to finish the dinner on a sweet note.

  • Gifts

Your presence is enough of a gift for us! Many of you will travel long distance to be a part of our wedding, so please do not feel obliged to get us anything else. If you wish to give a gift, it would be a lovely gesture, but please know that simply having you with us is more than enough.

  • Speeches

If you would like to give a speech, we are fortunate to have the wonderful Anna Kristine and Nicolai as our toastmasters to help coordinate everything. Please feel free to reach out to them, they would love to hear from you!
