  • Transportation in Oslo

    Walking
    Oslo is a city with approximately 700,000 inhabitants, making it compact and easy to explore on foot. Many of the city’s famous landmarks are within walking distance of each other, allowing you to soak in the sights at your own pace.

    Public Transport
    For those who prefer public transportation, Oslo’s system is operated by Ruter. Tickets can be conveniently purchased through the Ruter App, available for download on your smartphone.

    You can also buy a public transport card at local kiosks, such as Narvesen.

    Taxi
    Oslo offers several taxi options to help you get around the city. Both the Uber and Bolt apps are available for easy booking. You can also call Oslo Taxi at +47 22 38 85 85.
